Labor day weekend Fun and creativity !

This weekend is Labor Day. For some of us this is a weekend of relaxing before the school year starts, shopping deals BEGIN, Autumn has begun, cleaning the house, orchard picking…and the list continues…I will be participating in Crumland Jam Frederick Md and will have a table / tent set up. This is a perfect event for the whole family.  The property has enough acres for Bands, Food vendors, arts and crafts and much much more ! Local Brewery Flying dog has teamed up with many other establishments to offer some great beverage selections.  So if you are still contemplating what to do this weekend…Come on out to Crumbland Jam 2012 ! Tickets are online and can still be purchased.

I’ve put together some projects for the kids and I will have some artwork for sale. 15% of each sale
will go to a Breast Cancer Fund made for Beth Carson. I look forward to seeing those that can make it to this event !!! Good weather, Good company, Good times !!!!

A good friend, breast cancer, and HOPE

It’s been awhile since i’ve blogged. I’ve had so much on my mind. Recently I was given the news that a great friend of mine ( Beth ) from college was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.  Several days after receiving the news I  signed up for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk which takes place in Washington D.C. October 20, 2012.  I wanted to do something for my friend Beth.  So, I made a team.  Bethcon1  My friend Beth is quite an active person. She’s a mom of two, a wife to an incredible man. I am so eager to share all the progress that I’ve made in the past few days by talking with friends about some fundraising for my friend. It’s really overwhelming with the support that has been generated. I’ve had the opportunity  to showcase some artwork during the month of  September and November.
